PSYCO 105 – Individual and Social Behavior (Syllabus)(USRI rating = 4.46)
This course is an introduction to the study of human individuality, personality, and social psychological processes. Some aspects of normal and abnormal human development, psychological assessment and treatment may be reviewed. In addition to examining the research methods used in empirical investigations of psychology, we will cover several different topic areas of psychology, including: language and thought, intelligence, human development, personality and social psychology, and psychological disorders and their treatment. This course will also cover current empirical investigations into the nature and function of individual and social behavior, and how the psychological concepts described in the lectures and text may (or may not) be reflected in real world examples.

PSYCO 212 – Introduction to Research Methods in Psychology (Syllabus) (USRI rating = 4.43)
This class will provide an introduction to basic scientific methodology. Hopefully, by the end of the term you will have the skills to (1) interpret, critically evaluate, and discuss scientific research (both your own and others), (2) design and conduct your own scientific experiments, and (3) clearly and concisely communicate scientific results to other through APA-style research reports.

PSYCO 342 - Social Influence (Syllabus)(USRI rating = 4.72)
This course is designed to provide students with an introduction to research on social influence. Particular attention will be given to reviewing theory and empirical research on conformity, compliance, and obedience. This course will also cover attitudes and their measurement, as well as the factors that make persuasive messages effective in changing or altering attitudes. We will apply findings from the social influence literature to understanding influence processes in various social contexts (including several of the following: advertising, communication or fundraising campaigns, political campaigns, "brainwashing", lying, and psychological warfare contexts).
